Celebrity Gossip and Entertainment News:

I like how the Enquirer takes a simple story and makes it negative!!! Courteney Cox and husband David Arquette are planning to adopt a baby in a bid to keep their marriage alive, it has been claimed. According to American tabloid the National Enquirer, the couple - who are parents to daughter Coco, 4 - plan to start adoption proceedings soon after Cox's multiple attempts at getting pregnant again failed. A source says, "David wants a sibling for Coco, but Courteney's reached a point where she feels it's hopeless to keep trying to get pregnant.

Rebecca Romijn has become a mom for the first time - after giving birth to twin girls. Shortly after news that the Ugly Betty star was pregnant broke, Romijn's husband, Jerry O'Connell, joked that he was already feeling protective of his unborn daughters. Named Dolly, after their favorite singer, and Charlie after an Uncle.

Tim Allen and his wife Jane are expecting their first child. The couple are "ecstatic" about their baby due in the spring

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck spent their Sunday doing a dry run at the hospital. I guess we can expect a new little Affleck any second now!

At just 23, international singing sensation Leona Lewis has inked a multimillion dollar deal to pen her life story. The Bleeding Love star will reveal how she rose from the ranks of a Pizza Hut waitress to X-Factor-winning superstar status in an autobiography from publisher Hodder & Stoughton that is set to hit bookseller shelves in October. “The last two years have been an unbelievable experience for me. So to have it documented in pictures and to be able to tell people in my own words what it feels like means a lot to me,” Leona said of the opportunity to publish her memoirs in a statement on Monday.

Well, here's the story, and the retraction - all in one!
Lindsay Lohan has broken up with her beau of nine months, DJ Samantha Ronson, after a bitter argument between the women turned violent on New Year’s Day. Lindsay, 22, who was spotted carrying a big bag out of the couple’s LA home over the weekend, has reportedly moved out of the home she shared with the popular celebrity spinner and gotten a place of her own.
Trouble in paradise began on New Year’s Eve, when Lindsay and Samantha hosted a bash together at club Mansion, where the two began arguing in public.
“Both their families were there, and Lindsay and Samantha just started going at it,” a source told the NY Post. Lindsay screamed, “When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me! It was a really gross alley. There was a bum eating a sandwich and watching the whole thing,” a source told the paper. “Lindsay was really unstable and flipping out.”  The Post claims a war of words later turned to a physical altercation at a Miami hotel the two women were staying at.
“They were punching each other – it was bad,” another hotel patron told the paper. “And they were doing this in front of all of us. It was scary.”
Hotel security were dispersed to take photos of the girls’ reportedly trashed room.

Now according to Lindsay's blog....."Get your stories straight please. It's really annoying to have all of your friends emailing you saying, i saw, i read, etc... NOT TRUE :) xoxox Lindsay."

John Travolta and Kelly Preston will have the body of their late son cremated in the Bahamas, according to Radar Online. Sixteen-year-old Jett Travolta passed away after suffering a fatal seizure during the family’s holiday island getaway last Friday morning. On Monday, it was revealed that “seizure” was the cause of death listed on the teen’s death certificate. Keith McSweeney, the funeral director for Restview Mortuary, told Radar that Jett’s ashes will be flown back to the Travoltas home in Florida within the next 24 hours. John will be flying the plane carrying the ashes of his son.

Lourdes Leon, Madonna's teenage daughter, is set to attend the Manhattan Professional Children's School to persue acting, the Daily Mail reports. Some of the school's famous alumni include Sarah Jessica Parker, Scarlett Johansson and Macaulay Culkin. "Lourdes is desperate to become an actress," the paper reports. "She is determined to prove herself and plans to throw hersef into studying the technique." We can't wait to see Lola's debut! What do you think about kids following in their famous parents' footsteps?

Medium star Patricia Arquette has filed for divorce from her husband of two years, actor Thomas Jane. TMZ reports that Arquette filed the paperwork citing that old standby, "irreconcilable differences." Pat and Jane are parents to five-year-old daughter Harlow Olivia Calliope.  Apparently Patricia has retained the services of Britney Spears former attorney, Laura Wasser, so she should be protected even though she's got no pre-nup!

Jennifer Love Hewitt and her fiance, Scottish actor Ross McCall have called off their engagement. A source close to the couple told People magazine, "They broke up over the holidays and have ended their engagement. They're both really sad about this. Even their friends are surprised; they seemed really happy. Everyone just wants the best for both of them." The Ghost Whisperer star and McCall got engaged in November of 2007 after having dated for two years.

Actor John Travolta and Kelly Preston 16-year-old son, Jett Travolta, died  Friday. Jett, who had a history of seizures, was found unconscious in a bathroom at his family's home at the Old Bahama Bay resort on Grand Bahama Island Friday morning. Jett suffered from "frequent and extremely serious" seizures, but stopped taking the prescribed medication because of damaging side effects, family lawyers Michael McDermott and Michael Ossi said today. In fact, he was known to sieze about four times a week. Jett had taken Depakote, an anti seizure medication, for several years, but was taken off the medication after it lost effectiveness and "it began to cause serious physical damage" to his liver.

Today's NY Post reports Tom Cruise and Valkyrie may face legal action over their use of a likeness Hitler's globe in the film: They used a replica of one of Adolf Hitler's prized possessions in the movie without permission. The globe was replicated and prominently featured in Valkyrie, the thriller about a real-life plot to assassinate Hitler - and that has Robert Pritikin, the owner of the original mulling legal action. In 2007, Pritikin paid $100,000 for the globe and had its likeness copyrighted to keep it from being used in propaganda by sick neo-Nazi groups. (It's a globe...can you have it copyrighted?)

Matt Smith has been named as the new Doctor Who. Smith, 26 - who is taking over from David Tennant - will be the youngest actor to take on the role. He is three years younger than Peter Davison when he signed up to play the fifth Doctor in 1981. Smith will make his first appearance as the 11th Doctor in 2010, the BBC said Saturday.

Patrick Swayze sat down with Barbara Walters for his first television interview since being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year. The pair met up at the actor's ranch outside of Los Angeles for the piece, which will air Wednesday on ABC. PerezHilton.com quotes Walters as saying, "Everything about him impresses me: his courage, his humor. There's something very valiant about him... He's a fighter."

Reviews:

Yes Man - 2 Tiaras - w/Jim Carrey. Lightweight and fun, safe Jim Carrey Movie, not his best though.

Doubt - 3 Tiaras - w/Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Amy Adams. Look for an Oscar nom for Streep, but the star is the script.

What Doesn't Kill You - 3 Tiaras - Mark Ruffalo and Donny Wahlburg star in this smart simple little film, that captures the true essence of Boston.

Frost/Nixon - 4 Tiaras - Frank Langellia (performance of a lifetime) plays Nixon, Michael Sheen plays David Frost. Pridicts that Langellia will win the Oscar. Directed by Ron Howard. Riviting.

Slumdog Millionaire - 4 Tiaras(which really don't do it justice) Opens this weekend. Nothing like you've ever seen! You'll be on the edge of your seats, and will be begging for more at the end. Every critic will give this the movie of the year.
